INTO at The University of Stirling is partnered with the university to offer pathway programmes to a full degree. The university is located at the heart of Scotland and was the first new university in Scotland for more than 400 years. The university itself, has been voted number 1 in the International Students’ Survey for being a ‘good place to be’ by the International Student Barometer 2012.
The university is known as one of the UK’s leading research universities in several fields. In fact, it was ranked 1st in Scotland for research in Sport, Nursing and Midwifery, Education, and Cultural and Media Studies (RAE). The university has also been recognised for its excellence in the area of social marketing research by Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, 2013.
The Scholarship
With its continuous efforts to give students better access to international education, INTO University of Stirling is offering scholarships for those who want to study either an International Foundation or an International Diploma programme (September 29, 2015 or January 11, 2016 for 3 terms).
Up to 100% of the programme tuition fee will be granted to eligible students over two years. 50% of the scholarship value will be given for the Foundation programme and the other 50% will be given once you successfully complete the pathway course (provided that you proceed to the University of Stirling for your degree).

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the INTO University of Stirling Scholarship, you need to meet the following requirements:
International Foundation
- Completed or soon to be completing 12 years of schooling with good grades
- Minimum English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 4.5 in any subskills) or equivalent
International Diploma
- A recognised International Foundation or the first year of a relevant undergraduate degree programme or A-level equivalent in a suitable range of subjects.
- Minimum English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in writing) or equivalent
You need to have an offer to study at INTO University of Stirling upon application for the scholarship. You must submit an application form, supporting documents and copies of your academic qualifications.
The deadline for submission August 28, 2015 for September intake, November 27, 2015 for January intake.
