Kaplan International Colleges (KIC) and UWE Bristol are offering students the opportunity progress from UWE Bristol International College (KIC) to the second year of a engineering based degree at UWE Bristol. This pathway course and progression route combination is unique to the KIC network. Students have the chance to fast-track to an excellent range of degrees available at UWE Bristol after successfully completing and International Year One in Engineering.
Recently added to this programme is a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UWE Bristol which is a well-regarded degree, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers. It also gives students the opportunity to undertake Fieldwork throughout the degree, including overseas in the third year.

Progression Scholarships
Alongside this new on offer degree at UWE Bristol, I would like to remind you of the progression scholarships available for your students who progress to UWE Bristol:
- £1,000: All international (non-EU), fee-paying students who progress to UWE Bristol will receive a Partnership Scholarship.
- £1,500: International (non-EU) fee-paying students who achieve a module average of 70% or higher in their course and UWEBIC course and progress to UWE Bristol will receive an Academic Merit Scholarship.
- £2,000: International (non-EU) fee-paying students who achieve a module average of 80% or higher in their UWEBIC course and progress to UWE Bristol will receive an enhanced Academic Merit Scholarship.
- 50% OFF FEES: International (non-EU), fee-paying students who achieve a module average of 90% or higher in their Foundation Certificate and progress to three-year degrees at UWE Bristol will be eligible to apply for one of two 50 % fee scholarships available.
