Coventry University has just released an updated portfolio of the courses they are providing in 2015. They have added very current and valuable course to their list that we think you will find beneficial for your future. These courses have been approved by Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the UK, who assures that higher education institutions adhere to the standards and provide quality education.

International students must meet a Standard English language requirement when applying to Coventry University. An overall IELTS score of 6.0 is accepted for undergraduate degrees and an IELTS score of 6.5 for postgraduate degrees. Course learning is usually done through lectures, interactive seminars, workshops and personal tutorial sessions.

Here are some of the unique and interesting courses that the university is offering this September 2015.

Undergraduate courses
● Finance and Investment (BA)
In this course, you will study topics such as Business Economics and Marketing, Business Accounting, Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management and International Finance. You will be required to do a research paper on a topic of your choice relating to finance, otherwise known as a dissertation. If you aim to work in the financial sector as an independent financial adviser, this course may be beneficial to you. This course will be taught at the university’s Coventry campus.

● Music Composition (BA)
This exciting course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to develop a career in the music industry. You will study both the practical and theoretical aspects of musical composition and will have the opportunity to get practical experience and skills as a composer. You will learn from award-winning composers who work in a range of music styles. For entry, applicants need to go through an interview and audition and pass a music theory exam in addition to the academic and English language requirements.

● Aviation Management (BSc)
With this course, you will get to study topics on air transport, airline terminal functions and logistics operations. You will learn from highly experienced teachers who have UK and international experience in airport, airline and tour management and commercial flying. This will give you a good foundation for a career in the industry. This course is accredited by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

● Sustainable Building Performance and Design (MSc)
With the challenges we are currently facing with our environment, there has been an emerging demand for professionals who have the right set of skills to create sustainable buildings that consider the effects on the environment. With this course, you will study topics such as Building Performance Evaluation and Improvement, Low Impact Building Philosophy, Climate Responsive Buildings: Design and Management, Building Information Modelling and Management and Financial Management for Construction. This is ideal for graduates and experienced professionals seeking to enter or enhance careers as Building Services Engineers, Low Carbon Consultants, Building Surveyors and Energy, Facilities/Asset Managers or improve on their construction knowledge.

● International Fashion Marketing (MSc)
The fashion industry is consistently growing and highly competitive global industry. That’s why this course is relevant as there’s a need for managers who have cross-cultural communications, international business skills and know how to target specific markets. They need to be able to balance both the customers’ needs and the competitive markets in the fashion industry. This course does not require applicants to have work experience.

● Health Care Management (MBA)
This course is great for health care professionals who are aiming to take their management careers into the next level.
