Cambridge Education Group (CEG) ONCAMPUS Centres in the UK

Cambridge Education Group (CEG) formed in 1952 and they provide academic preparation programmes to students all around the world. Their programmes prepare students to progress to a full degree at some of the top universities. ONCAMPUS, are eductional centres based on the university campuses’ allowing students to experience the university life. They provide foundation programmes to students which could lead to either a related undergraduate or postgraduate degree in one of their partner universities.


CEG ONCAMPUS UK programmes:

  • Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP)
  • International Foundation Programme (IFP)
  • International Year One (IY1)
  • Master’s Foundation Programme (MFP)

UFP, IFP and IY1 usually run for one year or three terms, and the academic requirement for these generally depends on your country of education. The MFP can run from 1 to 3 terms and requires applicants to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university. The pathways available include:

  • Business, Economics, Finance and Management

  • Humanities, Law and Social Sciences

  • Art and Design

London Foundation Campus

ONCAMPUS London: They offer foundation programmes which could lead you to a full degree at one of the following University of London Colleges:

  • Birkbeck
  • Goldsmiths
  • Queen Mary
  • Institute of Education
  • Royal Holloway
  • Royal Veterinary College
  • The Courtauld Institute of Art

ONCAMPUS Coventry: Successful students who can complete their foundation programme at ONCAMPUS Coventry can proceed to study a degree at Coventry University. The university is one of the top 40 universities in the UK and is known for its applied research.

ONCAMPUS UCLan: They offer foundation programmes which could lead to a full degree at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). They have a Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme which progress to Year 1 of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), if succesful.

ONCAMPUS Sunderland: This ONCAMPUS centre offers foundation programmes which lead to a degree at the University of Sunderland. The university is among the leading modern universities in the UK and one of the finalists for the University of the Year THE Awards 2012.

ONCAMPUS London South Bank: This ONCAMPUS centre is located at London South Bank University (LSBU) campus. If you have successfully completed the foundation programme, you can then progress to a degree at LSBU, which is strategically located in central London.

20% scholarship: Cambridge Education Group (CEG) ONCAMPUS will give eligible students from East and South Africa a 20% academic scholarship for any 3 term programme that will start on September 2015 in an ONCAMPUS centre in the UK and Europe.

Applicants must pass the following general requirements:

  • Must be from East or South Africa
  • Excellent school or university grades
  • Must meet the Academic and English language entry requirements
  • Must submit a 500 word essay on ‘Why I want to study in the UK/Holland’
