Middlesex University has been providing world-class higher education since 1878. It’s a top research university with campuses in London, Dubai, Malta and Mauritius. The Mauritius campus was established in 2010 and is the first British university in the country. It follows the British education system and practices the same standards and quality assurance procedures as that of the university’s London Campus. So graduates will earn qualification that is recognised worldwide.

International Foundation Programme at Mauritius: 
This prepares you for an undergraduate level course by boosting your English language and academic study skills while familiarise you with the university’s culture and the British education system.

This programme is for Grade 12 school leavers, O level or AS Level students.

Course Modules
With this programme, you’ll learn the following:

  • Academic Writing
  • Researching and Presenting
  • Developing Independent Learning
  • Integrated Subject Based Projects

English language requirements

  • At least an IELTS score of 5.5 (or equivalent)
  • A minimum credit of six (equivalent to grade C) at school certificate level

You may apply for the pre-sessional courses if you have an IELTS score less than 5.5.

Progress to Middlesex University degree course: 
Once you successfully complete the foundation programme and meet all other entry requirements, you can proceed to a direct entry into a relevant Undergraduate course either in the UK or Mauritius campus. Here are the Undergraduate courses offered at the university:
