Medicine at UCLAN

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) offers a high calibre undergraduate degree in Medicine. UCLAN is the newest medical school in the UK and is tailored to meet the needs of international students. It offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) which are 5 year undergraduate programme that aim to equip students in becoming professional medical doctors.

Entry to the MBBS degree programme is very competitive, but UCLan provides an alternative route for international students who do not meet the direct entry criteria. Students interested in taking the MBBS programme can study the Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme offered at ONCAMPUS UCLan, a UK ONCAMPUS education centre based on UCLan’s campus.
